Bedrock is owned and operated by Nick Barnes and Freddy Davies, two friends who have a vision of bringing decorative concrete solutions to the UK market, after working in North America for one the world leaders in this industry Colormaker.

Colormaker is the lead manufacturer of innovative decorative concrete products, based in Vancouver, Canada. After seeing the potential of the Colormaker products, Nick and Freddy decided to bring their knowledge and experience to their homeland, Wales.

Both men have unique outlooks, and are passionate about their work. Always showing enthusiasm and optimism for their client’s ideas and despite their extreme professionalism still always bring an element of fun to any job site.

Whilst working at Colormaker, Freddy Davies designed and implemented a DIY course to introduce the public to the concept of coloring existing concrete floors and the use and application of micro-toppings (these workshops still run actively today).

Nick Barnes has vast experience in home renovations and has worked tirelessly to bring the very best in concrete products to our UK clients.
